HINDUISM
Hinduism is a categorisation of distinct intellectual or philosophical points of view, rather than a rigid, common set of beliefs.
Hinduism has been called the “oldest religion” in the world, and some practitioners refer to it as Sanātana Dharma, “the eternal law” or the “eternal way” beyond human origins. It prescribes the “eternal” duties all Hindus have to follow, regardless of class, caste, or sect, such as honesty, purity, and self-restraint.

hindusimPantheism
Common Hindus believe in the philosophy of Pantheism. Pantheism considers everything, living and non-living, to be Divine and Sacred. The common Hindu, therefore, considers everything as God. He considers the trees as God, the sun as God, the moon as God, the monkey as God, the snake as God and even human beings as manifestations of God. Question: When a human or an animal dies does this mean that a part of God has died? The Caste System Hindus believe in a caste system with the priestly class (Brahmin) being the highest and the untouchable (Avarna) being the lowest. A person’s role is defined by which cast they are born into and different rules apply to different casts. “If a man of inferior caste tries to sit down on the same seat as a man of superior caste, he should be branded on the hip and banished, or have his buttocks cut off.” Manusmriti 8:281. Human Manifestation of God Hindus believe that God was manifested as a human being such as Rama and Krishna. The reasons given are: a ) To understand the difficulties and problems faced by man b ) To teach men by example c ) To destroy evil |
islamMonotheism
The Creator and creation is completely separate and God is not part of the creation. The Concept of God in Islam is very simple and easy to grasp. 1.God is One, unique and distinct from His creation. 2.He is not dependent on anything. The creation is dependent upon Him. 3.He was not born and he does not die, nor does he bore any offspring. 4.Nothing resembles God and nothing can be compared to Him. No Caste System In Islam all people of all ethnicities and backgrounds are equal. The Prophet Muhammad said “All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; a white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white; except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.” The Muslim Belief Muslims believe that Allah is separate and distinct to creation and is All-Knowing and All-Powerful: a ) Allah says: “Should He not know, He that created? And He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them).” [Qur’an (67:14)] b ) It would be impossible for a human to follow the example of a God. Allah sends us human beings as Prophets and Messenger to set the example for us to follow: “Verily We have sent you (oh Muhammad) in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past).” [Qur’an (35:24)] c ) God does not need to take human form to destroy evil. Allah says “It is He Who gives Life and Death; and when He decrees an affair, He says to it, “Be”, and it is.” [Qur’an (40:68)] |
