CHRISTIANITY

The foundations of Christian theology are expressed
in ecumenical creeds. These professions of faith state
that Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and was
resurrected from the dead in order to grant eternal
life to those who believe in him and trust in him for
the remission of their sins.

The creeds further maintain that Jesus bodily
ascended into heaven, where he reigns with God
the Father. Most Christian denominations teach
that Jesus will return to judge everybody.

CHRISTIANITY

Concept of God

The concept of god in Christianity can be quite vague as
it claims to hold a monotheistic belief of god but the
issue of the trinity is actually the opposite.

The father, son and holy ghost are three clear separate
entities, so in fact there is 3 gods not one.

They say that there is one God but then he had a son (Jesus)
who is also Lord and he can be worshiped. It seems that
Jesus is prayed to more or exclusively to rather than
God Himself.

Question: The concept of 3 in 1 and 1 in 3 is confusing and illogical.
If Jesus is God himself then when supposedly Jesus died did this
mean that God died? Surely God would send a religion to
His creation that would make sense to His creation?

Jesus

Most Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God. Some
Christians use the argument that the virgin birth is evidence that
Jesus is the son of God.

Question: Isn’t having a son a human quality? Is this really
befitting of an All-Mighty All-Powerful God?

The Bible

The Christian holy book, the bible, does not exist in its
original form or language. Todays many versions and
variations are in fact copies of copies of copies with
majority of the original manuscripts lost or destroyed.

Question: If the bible is the word of God then why so
many contradictions and so many versions?

islam

Concept of God

The Concept of God in Islam is very simple and easy to grasp.

1. God is One, unique and distinct from His creation.
2. He is self-sufficient and controller of the entire universe and
creation and the creation is dependent upon Him.
3. He was not born and he does not die, nor does he bore any
offspring. He is the first and the last, nothing existed before
Him and nothing will exist after Him.
4. Nothing resembles God and nothing can be compared to Him.

In Islam Muslims only pray to God (Allah in Arabic) and exclusively
to God. Prayers, supplications, sacrifices, deeds etc. are solely
done for God alone and to seek His reward.

There are no intermediaries between God and the creation so no
‘gate keeper’ or ‘middle person’ is needed in order for prayers to
be accepted or delivered to God.

Jesus

Islam teaches that Jesus is the prophet of God sent to the children of
Israel to guide them to worship Allah (God) and show the truth in the way of Allah.

Muslims believe that to say God had a son is blasphemous and reduces the
Greatness of God. God is considered to be unique, distinct and separate from
His creation. Having a child is the characteristic of creation rather than the creator.

Muslims believe that all the Prophets including Jesus who was born of a virgin and
Adam who was born without parents are the creation and the servants of Allah (God)

The Quran

The Quran that is available today is exactly the same as when it was
revealed over 1400 years ago in the original language and not a
single word has changed. This is a promise from Allah made in the quran.
